How to Install Wireless Infrared Beam Sensors for Garage Security?
Applications of Infrared Beam Detectors for Garage Doors: Infrared beam detectors (photocell sensor) are typically installed on both sides of the bottom of the garage door. During the door's descent, if the infrared beam is blocked by an object, the door immediately stops falling and rebounds. The core function is to prevent pinching and crushing.

1. Confirm the motor supports wireless photoelectric: The motor must have a matching wireless receiver module. Motors that don't support it cannot be used with the wireless model.
2. Accessories checklist: Transmitter (TX), Receiver (RX), Wireless receiver (connected to the motor), mounting bracket, screws, battery.
3. Avoid: Direct sunlight, direct headlights, areas subject to frequent vibration, and locations prone to impact.
II. Probe Installation Location (Very Critical)
1. Installation Height: 12-15cm (4.6 inches) from the ground. Do not exceed 20cm. Too high and children may crawl, making detection impossible and posing a safety hazard.
2. Install the transmitter and receiver probes on the inside of the tracks on both sides of the garage door. The door panel, rollers, and tracks must not block the infrared beam throughout the entire closing process.
3. The transmitter and receiver must be at the same height, horizontally aligned, with a deviation of less than 5° in any direction. Do not lock the bracket initially; allow for minor adjustments.
4. Do not use double-sided tape for fixing; the metal bracket must be secured with screws. The vibration from closing the door will dislodge the tape, causing the probe to shift and become ineffective.
