How does the grounding coil vehicle detector DG002 work?
Vehicle sensors are devices used to detect and identify vehicles and are widely used in parking lot management, traffic monitoring, vehicle safety and other fields.
Today I will introduce you to a ground coil vehicle detector DG002. This vehicle detection sensor senses the presence of a vehicle through a coil buried in the ground. When a vehicle passes by, it changes the magnetic field around the coil, thus triggering the detector.
Technical Parameter:
Working power: AC 80V ~ 240V
Frequency Range: 20kHz -170kHz
Rated Power: 2W
Response Time: 10 milliseconds
Sensitivity: Adjustable in four levels
Relative Humidity: ≤90%
Operating Temperature: -20ºC ~ 65ºC
Output Mode: Relay (AC 220V/1A)
Dimensions: 78×41×107mm
Coil Inductance: Recommended 100uH—300uH (including connecting wires)
Dep switch:4 levels sensitivity for your choice(Low,Mid low,Mid.High)

Sensitivity is mainly used to adjust the speed of the detector's response to the vehicle. The sensitivity adjustment uses the DIP switches DIP3 and DIP4 on the panel, and refer to the right figure for setting. During the trial run, first set the sensitivity to a lower level. If the vehicle detection does not respond after the actual test, the sensitivity should be increased by one level, and this should be repeated until the vehicle detector is stable and works normally. Note: "High" sensitivity should be used with caution! If the number of turns of the ground sensor coil is small, the sensitivity is adjusted to "high" level, and the response is too fast, which will lead to the false detection of a car when there is no car on the coil, resulting in a "false death" phenomenon.
The main functions of vehicle sensors include vehicle detection, counting, identification, classification, etc. Depending on the function and application scenario, vehicle sensors can be used in the following aspects:
1. Parking lot management: Vehicle sensors can be used for vehicle detection and counting at the entrance and exit of the parking lot, and realize functions such as automatic lifting of barriers and billing.
2. Traffic monitoring: Vehicle sensors can be used for vehicle identification and counting at traffic intersections, providing data support for traffic management and planning.
3. Vehicle safety: Vehicle sensors can be used in security monitoring scenarios such as vehicle anti-theft and anti-smashing to improve vehicle safety.
